BIOMAT Open Call was featured in an online event organised by the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), on March 1st, under the theme “Upscale your bioeconomy innovations”. The Project was one of the four Open Innovation Test Beds (OITBs) funded by Horizon 2020, alongside Biomac, INN-PRESSME and Bionanopolys, presented at the initiative.
These OITBs are true collaborative ecosystems that offer technological and market-oriented services covering the complete value chain, allowing companies to develop innovative bio-nanomaterials from the lab stage to industrial prototypes. The Projects have recently launched their Open Calls, and the session attendees had the opportunity to learn everything about the application process and available services.
The deadline for BIOMAT’s Open Tender 1st Call is approaching, and businesses operating in the Construction, Automotive, Furniture and Bedding sectors can submit their application and innovate in producing nano-enabled bio-based polyurethane (PUR) foams and composites.
The Open Call is open until March 31st. If your company is interested in accessing disruptive technologies and services free of charge, apply HERE.
